How is that brought on though? The feelings don’t hit home until this scene because this is the very moment that reveals the effort they put forth, just how hard they continued trying even in the face of imminent loss. There are several obvious emotions the loss of Kaijou should have invoked in viewers: sadness and possibly pity. ![]() Poor puppy aside, I’ll try to explain why this scene is a culmination of “visual supremacy”. If last week was all about nuances behind words, this week is all about visual supremacy – and by that I mean key scenes rather than the quality of the animation.
